Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Loclia processes personal data of visitors to loclia.com and users who join the waitlist or later create an account.

1. Data controller

If the operator changes (e.g. transfer to a limited company), subscribers will be notified by email with an immediate unsubscribe option.

2. What we collect

When you sign up to the waitlist we record:

  • email address
  • visit language (CS / EN)
  • signup source (hero form, footer form, etc.)
  • IP address hash (SHA-256; we never store the raw IP)
  • browser User-Agent (truncated)
  • country (Cloudflare geo ISO code)
  • signup timestamp

3. Why we process

Purpose: letting you know when Loclia launches and sending related updates (seasonal newsletter, beta invitations).

Legal basis: consent under GDPR Art. 6(1)(a). You give consent by submitting the form and clicking the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Retention

  • Pending (email not confirmed): 30 days, then deleted
  • Confirmed: until unsubscribed or 12 months of inactivity
  • Unsubscribed: identifying fields anonymized within 6 months; audit log of the processing activity is kept under Art. 17(3)(b) GDPR (legitimate interest in demonstrating compliance)

5. Sub-processors

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — database and application hosting, EEUR region (Frankfurt). DPA
  • Resend — email delivery (confirmation, unsubscribe). Privacy

We don't sell or otherwise share data with any other third parties.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR Articles 15–22 you have the right to:

  • access your data (Art. 15)
  • rectification (Art. 16)
  • erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing (Art. 21)
  • withdraw consent at any time — every email carries an unsubscribe link, or write to hello@loclia.com

Email any of these requests to hello@loclia.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Supervisory authority

If you feel your rights are not respected, you may complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority — www.uoou.cz/en.

8. Cookies and tracking

Loclia does not use tracking, marketing or analytics cookies. See the cookies policy for details.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before any material change. Version history: v1-2026-06-01 (initial version).
